TiN
TiN is the most popular coating, increasing the life of cutting tools. It guarantees higher cost efficiency (less changes) and a more efficient tool performance. We will be glad to advise the best material applications for the highest cost efficiency of this coating.
MoreTiCN-MP
TiCN-MP with its familiar red-copper colour is used to improve low-alloyed tools, in particular for treatment of non-demanding recycling materials with a low temperature friction influence.
MoreALUCrom
This coating, grey in colour, is known for its excellent high temperature resistance. It is a good choice for shredding of tough materials where higher temperatures develop as a result of friction between tools and recycling material.
MoreCrN
This coating is recommended in particular for recycling of materials with a higher content of non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, …). It provides excellent sliding of surface which prevents »blockage« of mill and tools.
MoreNaCo
This coating is recommended for the most demanding recycling applications, due to cost efficiency. It successfully replaces shredder crowns from TK materials which are significantly more expensive than shredder crowns with NaCo coating. It is necessary though that recycling materials provide high cleanliness to guarantee efficient machining and long tool life.
MoreTiAlN-ML
A good general purpose coating which covers a very wide range of recycling materials. Its disintegration temperature is approx. 700 °C which includes recycling of almost all materials.

LONG-TERM CO-OPERATION
The company Valant d.o.o. was established in 2004. Its owner, mag. Marko Valant first started alone by providing services for CNC machines (especially repairs of electronics). Already in 2005, he began with the production of rotor knives (shredder crowns) and reversible plates in rented production halls in the industrial zone in Dobja vas. As the scope of work was gradually increasing, the company was growing as well. The company saw a major turning point in 2009 (after »economic crisis« started) when its production program expanded with additional products (holders for shredder crowns and counter knives for recycling mill rotors).
Today, the company has 13 employees and is located in the industrial zone in Dobja vas. The largest share of its production is taken by the primary production of rotor knives, holders and counter knives for recycling mills. The secondary production of the company is concentrated on robotization of production processes, optimization with the use of mechanical devices – robots to minimize losses in production processes.
